Coming out, out loud.
The COMING OUT LOUD Archive is a living, open-source collection of LGBTQIA+ coming out stories — recorded interviews, self-submitted audio & video, and transcripts — organized for community memory, research, and joy.

How it works
Book 30–60 minutes with Terrell to record on Zoom/Riverside. We’ll prep 3–5 prompts and you can pause or stop any time.
Send an audio (MP3/WAV) or video (MP4/MOV). Add tags, an alias, and consent preferences.
We transcribe (opt‑in), lightly index, and publish to the open archive. You can request edits or removal later.
Share your story
Choose one: request an interview or upload your recording. Both paths ask for your consent preferences.
Request an Interview
Book a slot and share your details.
Upload Your Recording
Audio/Video upload via Tally.
Consent‑first FAQ
Who can submit?
Anyone 18+ (or with guardian consent) who identifies within the LGBTQIA+ community. Allies may submit contextual stories if they center the queer/trans narrator and have consent.
Can I be anonymous?
Yes. Use an alias and choose “Public but anonymous.” We can redact identifiers in transcripts upon request.
Will my story be edited?
We do light edits for clarity and safety (e.g., removing doxxing). For interviews, you can review before publication.
How are files stored?
Secure cloud storage with access controls. Public items are streamed via a CDN. Backups are maintained.
What about takedowns?
Email us from your submission address; removals are honored. We retain an internal receipt noting the takedown.
What if my safety changes?
Change your visibility setting or request full removal. Your safety comes first.
