About the Series

Shades of Friendship follows Jaz and Andrés, two gay millennial best friends whose bond has survived relationships, bad decisions, career changes, and years of growing up side by side.

As their lives become more complicated, the friendship that once felt effortless is tested by love, sobriety, sex, social media, open relationships, identity, community, and the expectations they place on each other.

Told through intimate apartment scenes, livestreams, video calls, phone-shot moments, and digital conversations, the series blends comedy and vulnerability while asking what happens when your best friend becomes one of the most important relationships in your life.
